How to fix a leaking gutter?
1. Clean and dry the roof gutter
Remove all dirt, grease and dust. To do this use a coarse brush and a cloth if necessary. Remove all traces of existing coating materials. Soudagum Hydro cannot be used in standing water.
2. Spread the Soudagum Hydro sealant
Put on the gloves supplied in the repair kit before using the product. Cut the Soudagum sausage open with a (snap-off) blade. Pour the liquid product into the mixing box supplied.
3. Start applying the product and the reinforcement membrane
Spread the first layer of the product on the crack. The product must be applied at least 1 mm thick. Then use the Soudatextile reinforcement membrane for extra strength. Apply this membrane in the first layer when it is still moist. It is best to cut the membrane to match the size of the crack.
