Why should I store a can with the valve pointed upwards?

  3. Why should I store a can with the valve pointed upwards?

The valve contains a washer that links the outside of the can to the inside; this is not 100% airtight. If water does manage to get inside, it can react with the isocyanate in the canister and begin to cure, resulting in a valve blockage. If the product has the ‘Duravalve’ system, there is no problem with storing the can horizontally.
